Wednesday, October 24, 2007:  Jackson Hole High School tackles the play as 23 student actors present Arthur Miller's classic play, "The Crucible," this week.

Jackson Hole High School is located at 1910 High School Rd., just south of the town of Jackson, with magnificent views of the Teton Mountains to the north and other surrounding mountain ranges, and some of the valley's last remaining ranch land to the south. The home of the Jackson Hole Broncos is a beautiful new building, designed by award-winning Carney Architects of Jackson Hole and containing a 488-seat auditorium with proscenium stage (home to many community events), spacious gym, and signature rotunda.

The student body of JHHS is about 640 students in grades nine through twelve who engage in a full range of core academic subjects as well as arts and vocational training.

The principal is long-time valley educator Gary Elliot.

May 30, 2007 - In the next two weeks, all five Teton County high schools will hold matriculation ceremonies. Each school will celebrate its students’ success in its own style, large and small.

These photos come from a week spent with the Jackson Hole High School football team leading up to their homecoming game. The goal of the project was to document the football team without actually shooting a football game and was a project that Mr. Zinn produced for a photography workshop in Jackson Hole.

The Teton County School Board approved the district wide budget for the 2007-2008 fiscal year last Wednesday. The document lists in detail $32,902,597 in revenues and $32,567,266 in expenditures.

This fall, the Teton County School District will replace its current student-teacher assessment system with Northwest Evaluation’s computer-based Measure of Academic Progress (MAP).
